At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in
St. John Street in the said County (by Adjournment) on
Thursday the Twenty third-day of February 1764
in the Fourth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Third by the grace of God King of
Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > , William Timbrell< no role >
George Errington< no role > , James, Esdaile< no role >
and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the
King Assigned to keep His Majesty's Peace in the
County aforesaid and also to hear and determine
divers Felongs Trespasses and other Misdemeanors
Committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Parish of Saint
Bottolph Bishopsgate without in the Liberty of the City of London
Have Exhibited their Petition and appeal to this Court Setingforth
That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands and
Seals of Sir John Fielding< no role > Knight and William Kelynge< no role > Esquire
Two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
day of1764 Elizabeth Eades< no role > single woman was removed
from the Parish of Enfield in the said County of Middlesex to the
said Parish of Saint. Bottolph Bishopsgate without in the Liberty
of the City of London as the place of the last legal Settlement of
the said Elizabeth Eades< no role > Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves
to be Aggrieved Now upon hearing of the said Appeal [..] called having had due Notice as appeareth upon Oath
seen Alledged on whereby the present Church wardens and OverseersAnd forasmuch as the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Enfield Cathe solemnly
[..] or any one on then behalf not appearing to shew any cause against the same and having heard
what hath been alledged by the Petition and heir Counciland Witnessesin and concerning the Premisses It is
Ordered by this Court that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby
allowed and the said Warrant or Order is hereby Quashed and Vacated
And it is further Ordered that the said Churchwardens and Overseers
of the said Parish of Saint Botolph Bishopsgate without in the Liberty
of the City of London or some or one of them Do forthwith Convey and
Deliver back the said Elizabeth Eades< no role > (together with a Copy of this Order
