The humble petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of Allhalows the
Great
in the City of London
Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands
and Seals of Thos. Smith and

Esquires
two of his Majestys
Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex
(one where of being of the
Quorum) bearing date the Tenth day of February 1764

was removed from the Parish of St. Matthew
Bethnal Green
in the County of Middlesex
aforesaid unto the said Parish of Allhallows
the Great
as the place of her last legal Settlement whereby Your
Petitioners Conceive themselves to the Aggrieved
Therefore they humbly Appeal to this
Court against the Adjudication of the said two Justices
and Pray. That Your Worships will be pleased to
Order That the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poor of the said Parish of St: Matthew Bethnal Green
and all persons concerned do Attend this Court some
Day in this present Session to hear and Abide the
Judgement and Determination of this Court touching
the Said Appeal
And Your petitioners shall pray Etc
