Complaint of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary Islington
in a Case of Bastardy.

Overseers of the Poor of the Parish aforesd.
maketh Oath and Saith that to the
best of this Deponents knowledge
Information and belief Ann Dewberry
who in or about the 13th of January last
declared herself to be Eight Months gone with Child of a
Bastard or Bastards by the abovenamed
[..] Paul Haley< no role > hath not been delivered
of any Child since But this Deponent
verily believes that the said Ann Dewberry< no role >
was not with Child at the time she took
her Oath concerning it And for that
reason the Parish Officers are content
that the Recognizance enter'd into in that
behalf may be respited and saved from
Estreating or discharged according to the Act of
Parliament in that behalf.

the 19th. of July 1763.
