To the Right Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex in their General Session Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint John of Wapping in the said
County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order of Removal under the
Hands and Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex (one whereby being of the Quorum) bearing Date
the Thirteenth day of January 1763 Elizabeth Hambleton< no role > Aged
About Twenty Eight Years and her Son Joseph< no role > Aged About
Eighteen Months were Removed from the Hamlet of Hammersmith
in the Parish of Fulham in the said County of Middlesex to the Parish
of Saint John of Wapping in the said County of Middlesex
Adjudging the last legal place of Settlement of the said Elizabeth
Hambleton
< no role > to he there And Your Petitioners
Conceiving themselves Aggrieved by the said Order and Judgmt:
of the said Justices do humbly Appeal therefrom,

Your Petitioners therefore most
humbly pray that your Worships would be Pleased to appoint
some day in this Present Sessions And that your Worships will
make an Order that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the said Hamlet of Hammersmith and all Parties Concerned
in and about the Premisses may then and there hear and abide
the final Determination of your Worships therein

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc,
