Hamlet Parishof Hammer Smith in the parish of Fulham
in the County of Middlesex
and to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. John Wapping
in the County of Middlesex
& 10 each and every of them

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said [..] Hamlet of Hammersmith
unto us whose Hands and Seals [..]
hereunto set, two of his Majesty's justices of the Peace (wherupon
of one is of the Quorum) for the County of Middlesex afosaid
said, that Elizabeth Hambleton< no role > aged about twenty [..]
Years and her Son Joseph aged About Eighteen
Months
lately intruded themselves into your said [..] [..] of Hammers-
mith in the County aforesaid
there to inhabit as Parishnoner contrary to the Laws relating [..]
the Settlement of the Poor, and - there [..] become char-
geable,if not timely payment:AND WHEREAS, upon
Examination and Enquiry made into the Premisses, upon
Oath and other Circumstances
it appears unto Us, and we accordingly adjudge, that the fa [..]
Elizabeth Hambleton< no role > and Joseph her Son
like tobecome chargeable unto the saidParish of Hamlet [..]
Hammersmith and that the last legal Place
Settlement of the said Elizabeth Hambleton< no role >
is in the said Parish
St. John Wapping in the County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and
quire you the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
the Parish Hamlet of Hammer Smith aforesaid that y [..]
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said
Elizabeth Hambleton< no role > & Joseph< no role > her Son
I from your said Parish Hamlet
of Hammer smith to the said Parish of St. John
Wapping and Them den [..]
to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some
or one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order,or
true Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required, in his
Majesty's Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case
made, forthwith to receive the said Elizabeth Hambleton< no role >
and Joseph her Son
into their said parish and provide for them
as their own Parishioner. GIVEN under our Hands and Seals the
Thirteenth Day of January in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty three
