The Examination of James Potts< no role >

Who being on Oath says that he let in Mr. Murcott
about 10 o' Clock on Monday Evening last says
that Mr. Murcott said nothing to him, but went down
Stairo, that he did not see him any more that
Night til 11 o' Clock, when he went into ye
Room where Mr. Murcott was in Bed to
Pelch out his Lordship's Decanter & Shaving
Bason, that Mr. Murcott then desired him to
put some more Cloaths on him as he was Cold
which this Informt. accordingly did, says he saw
Mr. Murcott no more til the next Morning when
he had been found by [..] John the porter, but says
As he was that Morning in the Servants hall
Daniel was in the Pantry and that he heard him
call Mr. Murcott, that Daniel soon after came
to him and told him that Mr. Murcott was fast
asleep, that he replied that he might Ly a little
longer as he had Combed out my Lords Wigg
or Words to that effect, says he does not Knows that
any other Person lay in my Lord, [..] House that
Night besides [..] his own Family except the waiting
Womans Sister, says he does not know any Servant
in the Family that has lately Borrowe [..] ang Money
of each other, or of any other Person, says that he does
not know of any Quarrell that has happened among
any other Servant's in my Lord's Houses says that
he has a Guineas and a half the former he recd
of the House keeper on Monday last the letter
