For an Assault

John Powell< no role > of the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn in the
County of Middlesex Gentleman Maketh Oath That in Order to
have Served the above Named Rebeccah with a notice of Tryal
in this Cause for this Present Session He this Deponent Did on
the third Instant and at divers Times since make Diligent
Inquiry after the above Named Rebeccah and John Hughes< no role > at
their late place of abode in Grays Inn Lane and of divers
other Persons in that Neighbourhood who knew them and who
this Deponent Apprehended might have given this Deponent.
Information where they was to be found but Notwithstanding
such Inquiry and this Deponents Almost Endeavour for the
above Purpose this Deponent could get no other Intelligence
but that they were gone away and believed they were in Debt
and did not know where either of them was to be found
