At the General Quarter Session
of the Peace of our Lord the
King holden for the County
of Middlesex at Hicks Hall
in St John Street in the said
County by Adjournment on
Thursday the Fourteenth Day
of January 1762.

It is Ordered that Mr John Higgs< no role > the
Treasurer of this County Do pay to John
Turner
< no role > Governor of the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell the Sum of four Shillings
and two pence together will twenty Shillings
and two pence before allowed him making
together one pound four Shillings and,-
four pence for Subsistance of Vagrants
in the said house of Correction and that
the Receipt of the said Governor together
with this Order shall be a sufficient
discharge to the said Treasurer for such
payment.
