At the General Quarter Session of the
peace of our Lord the King holden for the
County of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John
Street in the said County (by Adjournmt.)
on Thursday the fourteenth Day of January
1762 in the 2d. Year of the Reign of King George
the Third.

Mr. James Jefferson< no role > the Deputy Clerk of the peace
of this County having been at sundry Expences of
Advertising Orders of the Court and on the Addresses to
His present Majesty and other extra affairs: and had
a great Number of attendances on particular County-
Businesses from nine to time by Order of this Majesty's
Justices in Sessions Assembled it is Ordered that
Mr John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay to
the Said James Jefferson< no role > the Sum of Ten Pounds
ten Shillings allowed him by this Court for his said
Disbursements and services and also the further
Sum of three pounds allowed to him for his charge
and trouble in taking Councils opinion upon a Clause
of the Act of Parliament of the 26th. of His late Majtys
reign for proceeding against Victuallers on a breach of
their Recognizances by order of a Committee appointed
in the last Sessions And that the receipt of the said
Mr. Jefferson for the same making together, Thirteen
pounds ten Shilling shall, with this order be a sufficient
discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.

Reced of the abovenamed Treasurer the Contents
of this Order
