At the General Session of the Peace of our lord the
King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks
Hall in St John Street in the said County by Adjourn
ment on Thursday the Tenth Day of December 1761
in the 2d. Year of the Reign of King George the
3d.

A Bill of John Steele< no role > for Smith's work done at New
prison and the House of Correction at Clerkenwell in this
County amounting together toTwenty eight ShillingsThree Pounds fourteen Shillings and Three
Pence being laid before this Court the same is referred to
Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esquire one of the Majestys Justices
of the Peace for this County to examine the same And it
is Ordered that Mr John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do
Pay to the said John Steele< no role > what the said Mr. Mainwaring
shall certify is right and justly due to him thereon And
that the Receipt of the said John Steele< no role > together with
this Order and the said Mr. Mainwaring's Allowance or
Certificate shall be a sufficient discharge to the said
Treasurer for such Paymt.
