the sd. Frans. was not at home & upon her return, [..] was
Was about an hour after the Child was discovered the
Inf. told her of the said Child's being found upon which
the sd. Fras. replyed that some person had dropt it
in the Cellar or words to that Effect and Saith that
he never head the Child belonged to her till he heard
[..] Acknowledged it before the Justice & that the
said Child was Still born And this Inf Sam Clay< no role > This name instance is in set 4652. for
himself saith That he was Inform'd by neighbor [..]
that a Child was found Dead in the house of the
other Inf Kent And the Inf went to the sd house &
found in the Kitchen a Dead Male Child & upon
Enquiring who found [..] the Child he was informd it was

at home upon which this Inf Enquired further Maid [..]
the house & was told by Mr Kent that she was abroad
and upon Asking Mr Kent what he Knew of the matter
he told him nothing at all and then Inf hearing that
the Maid Servant (when the sd Fras. Whaley< no role > ) was
at the home of one Mr Frankquet in King Gate trut
[..] he went them & found her & in order to set at the
truth took her with Custody & Conducted her to her masters
house & upon Questioning her wher she knew any thing
as the Child found in her Masters house She aust. she
did not and upon as hies her if it was not her Child
she Said it was not & that she wod siee any body leave
to search her and she then sold that she had endeavoured to get the Child burnd that Morning [..] & said that She beld. it was one Jouney who
lay above Stairs with hee Master Nephew And Saith that
When she was under Examination before the Justice
