Jno. Brown< no role > in Packers Lane. That abt. 9 weeks since
the deced lodged in his HouseThat abt. 7. Weeks since
abt. 11. or 12 at Night he heard the deced in the Lane
fronting his House cry out MurtherThat he went up
& saw Thos. Morris< no role > knock her down, Cut her Nose &
gave her a black EyeThat he would have Seis'd him
but he run up the LaneThat he advis'd the deced to
take a Warrt. agt. him but she Answrd. No & said if
she was to take out a Warrt. he would afterwards kill her
That she lodg'd with the Witness abt. a Fortnight &
[..] in good health & went away from him soon
after the beating & in health but with a black Eye & a
Cut Nose.

or 8 Weeks ago the deced& desiredcame to her & desired
her to Wash her bloody Handkerchief & Cass, That her Nose
was Cut, her Eye & her Forhead blackThat she said
Mr. Morris beat her & Stamp'd upon her left side to such
a degroe that he forced the Blood both ways out of her
Mouth & BodyThat her Shift was very bloody the
Witness wash'd it & the deced said it was owing to her
being Stamp'd upon by MorrisThe Witness Exaied her
Body & found her much Bruis'd on her left side, Thigh
& Arm beside the black Eye & Cut [..] NoseThat
she took to her Bed at her lodgings next door & the
day before vomited great [..] of Blood & said it was
owing to her being beat & stamp'd upon by MorrisThat
Tom Morris< no role > hath been the death of me & shall never
hold up my head any more. That she hath known her
abt. 5 or 6 Months & never heard her complain but
