in the fore veiw of the Lungs & about 1½ inch of the
back part of the same lobe it appeared also to have pass'd
thro' the upper part of the posterior left Lobe of the
Lungs near the very edge of that Lobe the passage of
the Ball thro' the Lungs was in oblique direction downwards
as low as the 5th. Rib from the Claviche which 5th. Rib
was fractured and greatly shattered at the distance of
near one Inch from the SpimeThe Orifice of the wound
in the back was about 6 inches from the lower part of the
nape of the Neck and near midway between the Shoulder
blade and the Spime neither of which were hurt by the
Ball in its PassageThere was a large quantity of
Extravasated Blood in the left cavity of the Thorax and
the lungs on that side were discoloured. Depont. further
Saith that he heard Capt. Jasper say that Mr. Brice had
struck him and that he could not as a Man of Honour live
with that Ignominy.
