. Chairman of the Sessions
Reported that he had
Attended his Grace the Duke of Newcastle in pursuance of the Order
of the nineteenth of November last and that his GraceAcquaintedsaid
himthat in the Year 1715. on the accession of His Majesty King
George the first to the Throne the Lord Lieutenant & Custos Rotulorum
of the County of Middlesex
the Deputy Lieutenants and Justices of the
peace
for the said County with the Justices of the peace
for the City
and Libty of Westmr.
Joined in one address to His Majesty; That Address
on the present Occasion were very Numerous, that one Address would
answer the same end, as three seperate Address; and desired the pre-
cedent with his opinion & request might be communicated to the Sessions
The precedent in the Year 1715. was then called for and read and
after some Debate the Committee came to the following Resolution
Resolved. That it is the opinion of this Commee that on the
present Occasion it will be convenient and proper for the Justices of the
peace
for this County to join in one and the same Address with the Lord
Lieutenant & Custos Rotulorum the Deputy Lieutenants of the County
of
