At the General Session of the Peace holden
for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John
Street in the County aforesaid by Adjournment on Thursday
the Eleventh Day of September in the Thirty fourth year of
the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King
of Great Britain Etc Before Thomas Lane< no role > Merry
Teshmaker John Crosse< no role > Ralph Hodgson< no role > This name instance is in set 3684.
Esquires and other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord
the King Assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid
and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses
and other Misdemeanors committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Margaret in the City of Westminster Exhibited their Petition
and Appeal at this present Session of the Peace thereby settingforth
That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order of Removal under the
Hands and Seals of Saunders Welch< no role > and Bartholomew Hammond< no role >
Esqrs. two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County
of Middlesex (One of them being of the Quorum) bearing date the 6th.
day of August 1760 Elizabeth Carsey< no role > the Wife of Charles Carsey< no role > ( [..]
is a Soldier and gone abroad) and their two Children Viz William < no role > aged about 6 Years, and Ann < no role > aged about 12 Months were Removed
from the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in the said County
of Middlesex to the said Parish of St. Margaret in the City of
Westminster as the place of their last Legal Settlement, whereby
the petitioners conceived themselves aggrieved Which said Petition
and Appeal was by the Court duly adjourned and appointed to be heard
on this Day Now upon hearing of what was Alledged on either Side
by the Respective Churchwardens and Overseers their Council
and Witnesses This Court Doth Allow of the same Appeal and
doth Vacate and Discharge the aforesaid Order of the said Two Justices
and the same is hereby vacated and discharged accordingly And
this Court doth further Order that the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Margaret Westminster Do forthwith deliver
the said poor Woman and Children unto the Church Wardens and Over-
-seers of the Poor of Saint James Clerkenwell or One of them together will a Copy of this Order who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them till they can free
themselves therefrom by due Course of Law.
