To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell in
the County of Middlesex and to the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor, of the Parish
of Saint Margaret Westmr . in the said
County

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex aforesaid
(one whereof being of the QUORUM) by the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said parish of
St James Clerkenwell That Elizabeth< no role > the Wife of Charles
Carsey
< no role > (who is a Soldier and gone abroad)
with their two Children namely William < no role >
aged about six Years and Ann < no role > aged about
twelve Months have

lately intruded, and
came into the said Parish of Saint James Clerkenwell
and are likely to become chargeable to the same; We
the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath, and other Circumstance, do adjudge the
same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the said Charles Carsey< no role > Elizth.
his wife and their said two Children to
be in the Parish of Saint Margaret Westmr.
in the said County of Middlesex

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to
require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said Elizabeth Carsey< no role > and the said
Two Children

from and out of your said Parish of Saint James
Clerkenwell to the said Parish of Saint Margaret
Westmr

and them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor, there or to some, or one of them,
together with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof,
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
them according to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals this 6th. Day of August 1760
