chair & the Witness along with her who helped undress
herbut the Deced was point & said nothing about
her receiving the WoundThat the Witness heard the
Deced cry out MurtherThat she often Us'd to cry out
Murder & therefore she did not immediately Go into the
room till the Husband called her in. That her own Husband was in the
room with the Witness but did not Go into the Deced's
Room but went directly away into the Country & left her
cannot say she heard any Words pass between the Husband
& the Deced or what the Quarrel was about but says
it was something very sudden. That after the Surgeon
was sent for the Witness heard Bassett the Husband say
he did it with a Knife but did not say with what Knife.
hath seen the Knife produced which they had always in
their Roomshe saw it lye bloody on the TableThat
it was a sharp pointed Knife but Dukarty when the
Witness came from the Hospital told her he broke off the
Point of the Knife that it should do no farr. harm
heard the Husband say the cause of the Quarrel was abt.

the Saturday but instead of so doing she pawn'd the Shirt
& spent the MonyThat she would Get Drunk & Pown Things

Mary Mackrell< no role > of the Middx Hospital . Nurse
to the Womens Ward there. That last Sunday was
fortnight the Deced came intointothe Hospital to be cared
of a Wound in her last Arm. That in the day time she
attended her to the time of her Death on the 1st. June in
the Evening. That the Deced on the Monday after she came
in told the Witness her Husband came in Drunk. That
they both lay down upon the Bed. That when they got up
the Husband inquired for his Shirt & the Deced made Andwr.
