Taken before me this
16th. May 1760
Who being on Oath says that on Thursday the 8th. of May
Instant her Husband was brought Home in a Past Chain
to his Lodgings in Bond Street
about one o' Clock in the
Morning very much Wounded in his right Ann, says
that her said Husband then Told her, that as he, together
with some other Chairman were coming home in a
Waggon over Hannslow Heath a Gentleman Servant
and who this Information has been since Fald was
one William Roberts< no role >
Servant
to Mr. Secratary Pitt,
drow the Horres belonging to the said Waggon into the
Ditch, and that upon this the Waggoner belonging to
the said Waggon called the said Roberts Black Guard,
and that, then the said Roberts [..] Rode round
to that part of the Waggon where her Husband was
and Cath him with a Hanger Over his Eye, says that
her said Husband for the Told her, that he then fellant
of the Waggon upon the Ground, and that the said Roberts
then Wheeled round his Horse, and gave this Informants
Husband a Cutt upon his right Ann as he was holding
up his hand to defend his Head
