Taken before me this 10th: day of May 1760
Who being upon Oath [..] severally say that on Wednesday
Night last about 8 o' Clock as there Informants were drawing a Waggon
drawn by three Horses from Winds or to Brentford
aforesaid
they were over taken near the ten Mile Stone on Homaslow Keeth
by a Titled Cart, says that the there Informants were at that time
in their Waggon, and had not any Person on foot or on Horse back
to guide the same, says there was along with the said Cart a Person
on Horceback whose Name as there Informants have been Sold and
verily believes is Wm. Roberts< no role >

the said Cart came night to the said Waggon the said William Roberts< no role >
Stuck there Informants fore Horse with the Butt an of his Whipp,
and attempted to Drive him out of the Road, and repeated it a second time
and then came to the side of the Waggon, when one Robinson, one of
the aforesaid Chairman Shook his Stick at him, and said, if he was out of
the Waggon he wou'd not Guidge to lay his Strick up or him, or Words
to that Effect, and that the said Roberts flourished his Whipp over
there Informants and the Chairmen in the Waggon, but to he the
