Taken before me this
9th. day of May 1760
Who being upon Oath says that on Wednesday Night last about 8 o' Clock
as he was driving a Sitted Cart from Windson to Town he Overtook upon
Honnslow Heath a Waggon [..] whit had served Chairman in it, ago that
when this Informant Cert was Opposite the said Waggon he turned a side
in Order to pass the said Waggon, but that the Drive of the said Waggon
then Whipped his House and drove funiously up to this Informant's
Cart upon which one William Roberts< no role >
who accompanied this Informant
on Horse-back turned the said Waggoners House on one side the Read
in Order that this Informt. might Pass with his Cart, says the said
Waggoner then repeated the Whipping on his Horses if he intended
driving against this Informants Cart, upon which the said Wm. Roberts< no role >
Rede up to the Waggoners fore Horse and Whipped him to one said of the
Read, and this Informant, further says that he then saw [..] one of the
Chairmen
in the Waggon his Spake [..] his Strike at the said William Roberts< no role >
, heard
them speak something but that this Informant did not under [..]
what they said, the Noise of his Cart presenting him
