At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex
at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by
Adjournment on Friday the twenty Seventh day of October
in the thirty Second Year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Second King of great Britain Etc before

Theodew Sydenham< no role > Esqrs. and other their Fellow Justices of our
said Lord the King Assigned to keep the Peace in the
County aforesaid and also to hear and determine diverse
Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds Committee in
the same County

Whereas the Church Wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the parish of Petersham
in the County of Surry have Exhibited their humble Petition and
Appeal unto this Court Setting forth That by Virtue of a Warrant
or Order under the hands and Seals of John Derbyshire Birkhead< no role >
and John Goodchild< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the said County of Middlesex bearing date the thirtieth
day of June last past John Reed< no role > Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and his two
Children to wit John< no role > Aged three Years and upwards and Sarah< no role > Aged
one Year and upwards were removed from and out of the parish
of Twickenham in the said County of Middlesex unto the said
parish of Petersham as the place of their last legal Settlement
which Appeal was appointed by this Court to be heard on this
present Friday the twenty Seventh day of October instant Now
upon hearing what was Alledged by Council for the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of [..] Twickenham and
also by Council for the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Petersham It is Ordered by this Court that the hearing
and determining the said Appeal be and the same is hereby
Adjourned until the next General Session of the Peace to be
holden for the said County and that the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Twickenham and also the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Petersham
and all Persons concerned do Attend the Court of the said next General
Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County by Adjournment
