The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the parish of Petersham in the
County of Surry

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Warrant or Order under the Han [..]
of John Derbyshire Birkhead< no role > and John Goodchild< no role > Esqr. [..]
Justices of the peace for the said County of Middlesex (whereof One is of [..]
bearing date the 30th. day of June last past John Read< no role > Elizabeth< no role > his Wife and his
Two Children (to wit) John Aged Three Years and upwards and Sarah Aged One
Year and upwards were Removed and Conveyed from and out of the
Parish of Twickenham in the said County of Middlesex unto the said
Parish of Petersham as the place of their last Legal place of Settlement

Your Petitioners Conceiving themselves
Aggrieved by the said Warrant or Order of the said
Two Justices of the peace Humbly Appeal to this
Court against the same And pray this Court
will Appoint a day at the next General Quarter
Sessions of the peace to be Holden for this County
for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said parish of Petersham and all other Persons
Concerned to Attend this Court to hear and abide the
Judgment and Determination of this Court touching
the said Appeal.
