Whereas Samuel Mack< no role >
layrin a Rogue and Vagabond was
found wandering abroad & begging in the
Parish of St. George
Hanover Square
in the said Liberty and not having a Legal
Settlement there, And Whereas the said Saml. Mack< no role >
layrin
was brought before me one of his Majestys Justices of the peace
for the City & Liberty
aforesaid (by John Lewis< no role >
) in order to be
dealt with according to Law.
There are therefore to require you the said
HIgh Constable
to pay unto the said John Lewis< no role >
for apprehending
the said Vagrant the Sum of Ten Shillings pursuant to the
Statute in that case made & provided, Given under my
Hand & Seal this 16th: day of November 1757.
