Whereas Notwithstanding former Orders heretofore made in this Court it
Appeareth unto this Court that on several days in every Week divers
Drays Coaches and Carts were drawn set and placed in the cast side
of St. John Street within the Parish of St. Sepulchre in the County of
Middx near to the Sessions house there in the Kings high way by several
Brewers Stage Coachmen and Carters And that the sd. Drays Coaches and Carts
do remain and Continue there in the said high heavy for the most part
of the day and that the Inn keeper and other persons therefor their
Private Lucre and gain do Cause premit and Suffer the said Stage
Coaches and the Carts aforesd. to stand and Continue there before this Houses
in the Street to the great damage and common Annoyance not only of
the Justices of peace of this County and others Majestys good subjects
attendg. his Majesty's Service in the said Sessions House but also of all
his Majesty's sd. Subjects in by and through the Kings Highway aforesd.
In the said Street going passing Traveling Riding and Labouring with
their Horses Carts Coaches and Carriages This Court for preventing so great a
Mischief Inconvenience and Annoyaance to his Majesty's Subjects for
the future doth think fit and so Accordingly doth Orders that the Constables
and Head boroughs of St. John Street within the parish of St. Sepulchres
or same of them do forthwith give Notice and Warring to the said
Brewers Coachmen and Carman that they do forbear to set or place their drays
Coaches or Carts in the said Highway and that the sd. Inn keepers and
other Persons do not permit & Suffer the said Stage Coaches or
Carts to stand in the Street before their doors And after such Notice
or warning given the said Brewers, Inn keepers, Stage Coachmen
Carters or other persons or any of them shall afterwards presume to offend
in the premisses That then the sd. Constable & Head boroughs or
some or one of them are by Virtue of this Order and without any
further Warrant & from time to time to bring every such Brewers
and other person so offending before one of his Majestys Justices
