To the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields , within the
Liberty of Westminster , in the County of Middlesex ;
and to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Pancras in the
County of Middlesex and to each and every of
them

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us, Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace ,
for the City and Liberty aforesaid (One where-
of being of the Quorum) by the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields , That Elizabeth Sunderland< no role > Wife of
John Sunderland< no role > (now in the Gatehouse) and
their four Children to wit Ann< no role > aged Eight
Years and upwards Samuel< no role > aged five years and
upwards Sarah< no role > aged three Years and upwards
and Mary< no role > aged five Month have

lately intruded and
come into the said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields ,
and are likely to become Chargeable to the same;
We the said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath and other Circumstances, do adjudge the
same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the said Elizabeth Sunderland< no role >
and her four Children to be in the Parish of
Saint Pancras in the County of Middlesex
aforesaid

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name,
to require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
convey the said
Elizabeth Sunderland< no role > and her
four Children
from and out of your said Parish of St. Martin in the
Fields , to the said Parish of St. Pancras in the
County of Middlesex .
and Them deliver unto the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or to some, or One of them,
together with this Our Order, or a true Copy hereof,
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
Them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals this 22nd. Day of July 1755.
