Deputy

WHEREAS George Locker< no role > formerly of
the parish of Endfield in the County of
Middlesex late of the parish of Shoreditch
Labouring Man
hath petitioned me Saunders Welch< no role > Esqr
one of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
setting forth, That
he was a Fugitive for Debt, and beyond the Seas in Fo-
reign Parts on the First Day of January, 1755. and being
since returned, hath surrendered himself a Prisoner unto
you, and praying for the Benefit of an Act of Parliament
of the Twenty-eighth Year of His present Majesty King
GEORGE II. intituled, An Act for Relief of Insolvent
Debtors; these are to authorize and require you, to
bring the Body of the said George Locker
before His Majesty's Justices
of the Peace, at the next General or Quarter Sessions
of the Peace, which is to be held at Hicks's Hall
in Saint Johns Street on the
Sixteenth Day of October next, for
the said County or any Adjournment
thereof, to be held next after the Expiration of Ten
Days from the Date hereof, at Ten of the Clock in
the Forenoon, in order to his being released and dis-
charged out of Custody, and from his Imprisonment
pursuant to the Tenor and Direction of the said Act of
Parliament. Given under my Hand and Seal the
Thirteenth Day of September 17 55
