To the Right Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
[..] Sessions of the Peace for the County Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint James within the Liberty of Westminster in the County
of Middlesex .

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands
and seals of Philip Dyot< no role > and John Barber< no role > , two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one of them being of
the Quorum) bearing date the thirteenth day of August 1755, John
Desire
< no role > and Elizabeth< no role > his Wife were Removed form the Parish of Saint
Giles in the Fields in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish of
Saint James Westminster as the Place of their last legal Settlement.

Your Petitioners concerning themselves aggrieved
by the Warrant and Judgment of the said two Justices,
humbly Appeal to this Court for Relief in the Premisses;
And Pray that this Court will be pleased to Appoint
a time for hearing and Determining the said Appeal
And that all persons concerned may then Attend

And Your Petitioners shall ever Pray
