WHEREAS Complaint has been made by your the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish ofSaint
Lukeunto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(Whereof one is of the Quorum) for theCountyaforesaid,
That

lately intrudedand comeinto your Parish ofSaint Luke
aforesaid
there to inhabit asaParishioner contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, andisthere like to become Charge-
able, if not timely prevented. And Whereas, upon due Examination
and Enquiry made into the Premises,upon Oath
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said

is
like to become Chargeable unto the said Parish ofSt. Luke
and that the last legal Place
of Settlement of the said

is in the said Parish of
St. Mary Le Bone
THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Lukeaforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidSarah

from your said Parish ofSaint Luke
to the said Parish ofSaint
Mary Le Bone
andherdeliver
to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some or one
of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true Copy thereof;
whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's Name And by Virtue
of the Statues in such Case made, forthwith to receive the saidMary
Smeaton< no role >
into their saidParish careand provide forher
as their own ParishionerGiven under our Hands and Seals the
twenty ninthDay ofOctoberin the Year of
our Lord, One Thousand Seven Hundred andfifty four
