Maketh Oath and saith that on Saturday the
Thirtieth day of November last
he this Deponent did Personally serve the said
William Ward< no role >
at this Stop
[..] at Whitney
aforesaid with a true Copy of the order of
Sessions hereunto Annexed And did at the same time by Virtue of a power and
Authority in Writing under the hands of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said parish of St: James likewise Hereunto Annexed Demand of the
said

the sum of Four pounds and Five Shillings in the said Autho
-rity Mentioned for the use of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of St: James being the money therein mentioned to be already laid out and Expended by them
for the purposses mentioned in the said Authority But the said William Wards
then refused to pay to this Deponent the said sum of Four Pounds and five Shillings
so that the same sum of money is still un satisfied and unpaid to this Deponent
And this Deponent further saith that he did at the same time personally serve
the said

with a true Copy of the Notice hereunto Annexed And this
Deponent further saith that he Apprehends that the said Sum of Four pounds and
Five Shillings is due to the said Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of St. James
from the said William Wardly Virtue and under an Order of
Adjudication in Bastardes which order is particular Set for the recited mentioned
and Expressed in the said order of Sessions
