Mary Cassanova< no role > of the Parish of Saint James in the
Liberty of Westminster & County of Middx Widow Prosecutor
in this Cause [..] John [..] Hockenhall< no role > of the Parish
of Saint Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex aforesaid gent
separately & severally make Ooth and first this Depont Mary
Cassanova for herself saith that she is a Prosecutor in this Caus [..] and
that Theodosia Blake< no role > of James street near Golden Square
in the County of [..] Middx aforesd. is a Material Witness to
prove that the several Things mentioned in the Indictmt. found
against the Deff Mary Jones< no role > were stolen by the said Mary
Jones< no role > from this Depont and this Depont saith that without the Evidence of
and Testimony of the said Theodosia Blake< no role > she this Depont
is advised and believes that she cannot Convict the said Mary
Jones< no role > of shealing several things mentioned in the said
Indictment or safely proveed to Tryal in this Couse without
the Testimony of the said Theodosia Blake< no role > and this Depont
John Hockenal< no role > for himself saith that on Wednesday last he
said out a subpena for the said Theodosia Blake< no role > to appear and
give Evidence this Day at [..] Justice Hall in the Old
Baily against the Deft in this Cause and that he this Depont
hath been several times at the house of the said Theodosia
Blake< no role > in James street aforesd. in order to serve her with the
said subpena but could not see her or serve her therewith and
this Depont verily believes that the said Theodosia Blake< no role >
is secreted and keeps out of the Way in order to avoid being
served with the said subpena
