Thomas Francis< no role > of Lincolns Inn Assistant
Sollicitor of this Majesty's Treasury maketh Oath and sayth
That the Defendant Patrick Fielden< no role > stands Committed to his
Majesty's Goal of Newgate by the Right Honourable the
Earl of Holderness one of his Majesty's Principal Secretaries
of State for Enlisting men in to the French Service And that
the several Facts for which the said Patrick Fielden was so
Comitted as aforesaid arise in the County of Essex [..]
[..] And this Deponent further saith that John
Sharpe
< no role > Esquire Principal Sollicitor of his Majesty's Treasur y
has received his Majesty's Commands for prosecting the
said Patrick Fielden for the same at the next Assizes
to be held for the said County of Essex

Sworn at Justice Hall in the
Old Bailey the fifth day of May
1753.
