At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for
the County of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment
on Thursday the third day of May in the twenty sixth year of the reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the second King of Great Britain Etc

This Court in order to discover if any and what money hath been exacted or received by
Robert Wright< no role > Esquire one of the Coroners of this County or his Agent of any Parish
Officers in this County since the twenty fourth day of June last past on account of
taking any Inquisitions concerning the death of Persons lying dead in the respective
Parishes in this County doth order that it be and it is hereby recommended unto King
Gould
< no role > This name instance is in set 235. Charles Gould< no role > and Samuel Bever< no role > Esquires and other his Majestys Justices of
the Peace residing in Kensington Division in this County or any one or more of them
to convene before them the present or late Parish Officers of the several Parishes
of Ealing Chelsea and Kensington and to examine if any money was exacted or
received of the said respective Parish Officers of Ealing by the said Coroner or
his Agent on account of taking an Inquisition concerning the death of Thomas
Paschall
< no role > or any other Inquisitions and also to inquire of the present or late Parish
Officers of the said Parishes of Chelsea and Kensington if any and what money hath
been exacted and received of them or any of them by the said Coroner or his Agent
on Account of taking any Inquisition since the said twenty fourth day of June last
and to take an Account in Writing of what money they shall find so received by the
said Coroner or his Agent and to attend and produce such Account before a Committee of
his Majestys Justices of the peace in this behalf appointed on Wednesday the sixth
day of June next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon at Hicks Hall in Saint John
Street who are to consider further in Case it shall appear that the said Coroner hath
received any money illegally on account of taking any of the said Inquisitions.
