At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County
of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Tuesday the
first day of May in the twenty sixth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second
King of Great Britain Etc before Luke Robinson< no role > George Errington< no role > John Dekewer< no role > William
Withers
< no role > Esquires and other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King
assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint George
the Martyr in the County of Middx have exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal
unto this Court Setting forth That by virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands and
Seals of Philip Dyot< no role > and John Milner< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middx (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the eighth day of February last
Ann Founds< no role > Widow of William Founds< no role > with Benjamin< no role > their Child aged about six years
were removed and conveyed from the Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields in the said County
to the said Parish of Saint George the Martyr as the place of their last legal
Settlement And that the Petitioners think themselves aggrieved by the said Order and
appeal to this Court against the same Whereupon at the request of the Petitioners It is
Ordered by this Court that the benefit of the said Appeal be saved unto the Petitioners
And that the hearing and determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned
untill the next General Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County And that
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields
(upon Notice of this Order) and all Persons concerned do attend the Court of the said next
General Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County of Middx by adjournment
on Thursdaythe Seventhday of June next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon
to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of the same Court touching the
said Appeal.
