At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of
Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Friday the fourth day of
May in the twenty sixth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second King of Great Britain Etc
before Luke Robinson< no role > George Errington< no role > John Dekewer< no role > William Withers< no role > Esquires
and other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid
and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Upon hearing of the Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Cooksom
in the County of Oxford against an Order under the Hands and Seals of Samuel Bever< no role > and John Powell< no role >
Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the twenty fifth day of January One thousand seven hundred and fifty two
whereby Thomas West< no role > Mary< no role > his Wife and four Children vizt. Thomas< no role > nine years of Age
Sarah< no role > Seven James< no role > three years of Age and Mary< no role > about eight Months were removed from the
Parish of Kensington in the said County of Middx unto the said Parish of Cooksom in the said
County of Oxford alledging the said Parish of Cooksom to be the Place of their last legal
Settlement And upon hearing of what was alledged by Councel for the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Kensington and also by Councel for the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Cooksom This Court doth disallow of the said Appeal
and doth ratify and confirm the aforesaid Order of the said two Justices of the Peace and the same
is hereby ratified and confirmed accordingly.
