Westminster , To wit.


To the Constable, Headborough , Tythingman, and other
Officer of the Peace of the Parish of St. Margaret
in the City of Westminster , to receive and convey.
And to the Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or
Overseer of the Poor of the Parish, Place of Pre-
cinct ofSt. Mary Guilford in theCounty
ofSurry or either of them to re-
ceive and obey

WhereasWilliam Hackman< no role > has been

apprehended in the said Parish of st. Margaret, Westminster , as a Rogue
and Vagabond, (videlicet)
Lying in the Open Air Etc
and upon Examination of the saidVagabond
taken beforeMeupon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear thatthe last Legal
Settlement of the said Wm Hackman< no role > & Mary< no role > his Wife
is in the parish of St Mary Guildford in Surry

These are therefore to require you the said Constable and other Officer
to Convey the said Vagrantsto theparishofLambeth
that being the firstParishin the next Precinct thro' whichthey
ought to pass in the direct Way to the saidparishofGuildford
to whichthey areto be sent and to deliverthemto
the Constable or other Officer of Suchparishin such next Precinct,
together with this Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the said
Vagranttaking his Receipt for the same.
And the said Vagrant to be thence conveyed on in like Manner to the said
parishofSt. Mary Guildford there to be delivered to some
Church-Warden, Chapel-Warden, or Overseer of the Poor of the same
parishto be there provided for according to Law. And you the
said Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, and Overseers of the Poor are here-
by required to receive the said Personsand provide forthemas aforesaid.
