Upon an Indictmt. for an
Assault

Congrave Laws< no role > of the Parish of St. Mary White
Chapel in the County of Middx Victualer maketh
Oath that he this Depont. jointly with another
become Bound in July last for ye appearance
of the above Defendt. Elias Copperfield< no role > to Try his
Traverse within the first three days of ye ensuing
Session, And this Depont. further saith that the
said Elias Dyed on Sunday the 15th. day of Septr.
Instant at the House of Mr. Weaver at the Sign
of the Brown Bear in Moorfields where this Dept.
saw him in a Coffin And that he this Deponent
attended at the Funeral of the said Elias to
White Chapel Church on Tuesday the 17th. Instant where this Dept. saw him
Interred in a Grave opened in the Church Yard
belonging to the said Church
