of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in
their General Quarter Sessions of the
Peace Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. James within
the Liberty of Westmr . in the said County

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or
Order of Removal under the hands and Seals of
John Upton< no role > and Francis Burton< no role > Esqrs. two of his
Majesties Justices of the Peace for the City and
Liberty of Westmr. (one where of being of the
Quorum) bearing date the 27th. day of March
1751 Mathew Gray< no role > Ann< no role > his Wife and their two
Children Mary< no role > Aged thirteen Years and Alice< no role >
Aged twelve years were removed from the Parish
of St. George Hanover square in the Liberty
aforesaid to the said Parish of St James as the
Place of their last legal Settlement Whereby
Your Petitioners think themselves Aggrieved
And Appeal to this Court against the same

Your Petitioners therefore [..]
humbly Pray that this Court will be
Pleased Appoint a time for hear
ing and Determining the said Appeal
And that all Persons Concerned May
then Attend
