To the Right Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middx in General Quarter Session assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church wardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Castle Henningham in
the County of Essex .

Sheweth


That by a certain Pass under the Hand and Seal of Boulton Mainwaring< no role >
Esqr. one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middx
bearing date the second day of February One thousand seven hundred and fifty
one Mary Davis< no role > (mentioned in the sd. Pass to be Wife of Thomas Davis< no role > ) and
her Child Sarah Davis< no role > aged two years were removed from and out of the Parish
of Saint George in the said County of Middx as Vagabonds apprehended in the
same Parish wandering and begging and were conveyed to the said Parish of
Castle Hemingham in the sd. County of Essex as the place where the Father of
her the Sd. Mary Davis< no role > was born

Yor. Petitioners receiving themselves aggrieved
by the sd. Pass of the said Justice of the Peace
humbly appeal to this Court agt. the same and pray
that the Court will appoint a day this present
Session for the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. George aforesd
and all other Persons concerned to attend this
Court to hear and abide the Judgmt. & Determination
of this Court touching the sd. Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
