At the General Session of the peace of Our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the
County of Middx at Hicks hall in St: John Street in the County aforesaid by
adjornment On Tuesday the twenty Seventh Day of February is the twenty third year
of the reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the second King of Great Britain Etc before
Merry Teshmaker< no role > Peter Elers< no role > John Lawton< no role > Walter Berry< no role > Esquires & other their
Fellows Justices of Our said Lord the King assigned to Keep the peace in the County
aforesaid And also to hear & determine divers Felonys trespasses & other Misdeeds
committed in the same County

Whereas The Church Wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of All hallows
Barking London exhibited their humble Petition & Appeal unto the Court of Generall
Quarter Session of the the peace holden for the County of Middx by Adjornment on Monday
the Ninth Day of October last Setting forth That by Virtue of an Order or pass Warrant
under the hands & Seals of two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County
of Middx (One whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the sixth Day of October
One Thousand Seven hundred And Forty Nine Durance Blinkman< no role > Widow of James
Blinkman< no role > Deceased was passed from the Parish of St: Giles in the fields in the said
County to the Parish of All hallows Barking London aforesaid alleding the last
legall place of Settlement of the said Durance to be there And That the Petitioners
conceiving themselves aggreived by the said Order & Judgment of the said two
Justices did humbly appeal therefrom Which Appeal was appointed to be heard
on the thirteenth Day of the same Month of October and Whereas by Virtue of an
Order made by the Court of the same Quarter Sessions on that Day and of severall
other subsequent Orders of Generall and Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace
for the County of Middx the hearing & determining the Matter of the said appere [..]
stands Adjourned untill this present Generall Session of the peace holden for the
said County of Middx And the said Appeal was appointed to be heard on the twenty
Seventh Day of February instant Now upon Application Made unto this Court
by the said Appeleants praying that the hearing of the said Appeal may be further
Adjourned This Court upon sufficient reason offered Doth Order That the
hearing & determining the Matter of the said Appeal be And the same is hereof
