The Information of William Divericks< no role > of the Hamlet
of Poplar in the said County Labourer Taken before
me Walter Berry< no role > Esqr one of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the said County upon this oath This first
Day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and fourty Seven.

This Informant on his Oath Saith, That this Day
about one of the Clock afternoon which he was at
work he had his Pocket Pickt of a Tin Box containing
three half Guineas his property: And this Informant
on his Oath Saith That he violently Suspects That
John Burk< no role > did feloniously pick his pocket of the said
Box and three half Guineas while he was as work as
aforesaid And farther this Deponent maketh Oath That
he found the said Tin Box had Two half Guineas in
the [..] Posession of the said John Burk< no role > & further
Saith not.

The Examination of John Morgan< no role > of the Hamlet of
Poplar in the said County Gent. Taken upon Oath before
Me Walter Berry< no role > Esqr . one of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for the said County this first Day of March in the
year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & fourty seven

This Examinant on his Oath That this Day about one of the
Clock this afternoon William Divericks one of the Labourers
belonging to the WhiteLead house at Lime house hole in the said County
(to which this Examinant is Clerk) Came to him this Examinant and
Complained that he had had his Pocket pickt, while at work, of a Tin
Box and Three half Guineas And he this Deponent having ordered
the Labourers to be All Searched The said Box was found inwonone
of the Coat Pockets of John Burk< no role > and further Enquiry being made
he the said John Burk< no role > returnedwok two half Guineas out of his
Briches Pocket and returned the same to the said William Divericks< no role >
And further Saith not
