Coroner for the County of Middx4th Informaconthe 15th. day of
April 1748

Thomas Sledge< no role > Surgeon maketh oaththat
he has viewed the body of the deced & that
he believes the Wound deced has under his
right breast was the Cause of his death
Says that Informant was sent for hearing
there had been a Duel between two Gentleman & [..] both was wounded
&thatthat itfwas feared Cone was deadSays
thathewhen he saw Leverick he asked
him where he was wounded on which Leverick
said go to the other Gentleman who was
in the field & dress him first for he was
afraid he wanted his Assistance most
Informt. went directly & found deced dead
then returned dressed Levericks wounds. &
asked sometime afterwards whether deced was
dead to which Informt. replyed he was
Then Leverick said, is the man dead
