At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our sovereign Lord the King
holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John street in the County
aforesaid by adjornment on Tuesday the Nineteenth day of April in the twenty
first year [..] of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the second King of Grent
Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > Samuel Tatem< no role > William Withers< no role > John Lewton< no role >
Esquires & other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep
the peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear & determine divers felony
trespasses & other misdeeds committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor of the parish of Great
Yar moath in the County of Norfolk exhibited their humble petition and
appeal unto the Court of General Quarter Session of the peace holden for the
County of Middx by adjornment on Thursday the fourteenth day of January
last Setting forth That by an Order or Pass warrant Under the hand & Seal of.
John Milner< no role > Esquire one of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County
of Middx bearing date the thirtyeth day of November last Ann Briand< no role > widow
of Edward Briand< no role > deced was removed from the parish of St. Giles in the fields
in the said County of Middx to the said parish of Great yarmouth as the place
of her last legal Settlement, And that the Petitioners thinking themselves
aggrieved by the said Order of the said Justice appealed to the said Court
against the same, And whereas by an Order made by the same Court on the
said fourteenth day of January last the hearing & determining of the said
appeal was adjourned Untill [..] this present General Quarter Session of
the peace holden for the Said County of Middx Now upon motion made unto
this Court by Mr. Serjeant Hayward of Councel for the said Appellants
praying that the hearing of the said appeal may be further adjourned and
offering several reasons for that purpose It is Ordered by this Court that the
hearing & determining of the said appeal be and the same is hereby
further adjourned untill the next General Quarter Session of the peace to be
holden for the said County of Middx, And that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the said parish of St. Giles in the fields (upon service of
a copy of this Order) and all persons concerned do attend the Court of the said
next General Quarter Session of the peace to be holden for the same County by
adjornment ontheday of July next at ten of the clock
the forenoon to hear and abide the Judgment & determination of the same
Court touching the said appeal.
