the 24th day of January 1747

This Informants upon his Oath Saith That he held the 2 half Crowns and the ring which the do [..]
Cowley had puts into lud hands and that they were Danking in a friendly ma [..] To gether
that he thus Informant before they began to Quarrel held out his hand and [..]
to Taken the [..] and the half Crowns and thats they both refused it and Immediately
to fighting and as soon as they had dones delad went into the [..]
returned againwith One Sides of his Sa [..] much Covered with mudd and lord when
Information was being is own appartment heard a greaning in the Passage where pa
and Some others sents and found the deced laid there with his face very much Covered with [..]
and he this Informant and the Sd. Cowley desired behaved a Surgeon Sent for in Order to
he deced blood And that the sd. Cowley were very much Concerned and Sorry for who
happened And when hired be Expired Cowley Said he Wod . not Attempts to Flyes or [..]
off but wod, Stay and he Charged in the Custody of a Constable, for he had no thought
of being an [..] sarytheto the death And the Informant verily beleives the sd. Cowley [..]
thought of Killing the deced the Occasion of the death of the deced
