Saint John Street in and for the sd County assembled

The humble Petition & Appeal of the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St Clement
Danes in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by an Order under the hands and Seals of
Tho. Burdus< no role > & Wm. Jones< no role > Esqrs. two of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the Liberty of Westmr. (one of the Quorum)
bearing Date the 9th. Day of Febry Instt. Ann Wolfe< no role > Wife of
Sheppard Wolfe< no role > who hath absconded from her was removed
from the Parish of St. Paul Covent Garden in the Liberty of
Westmr aforesaid to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes
as the Place of her last legal Settlemt. whereby your
Petitioners conceive themselves to be agrieved and against
the said Order do appeal

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray
that a short Day may be appointed this
present Session to hear and determine
the matter touching the said Appeal
