To the Right Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the County of Middlesex at their Generall Sessions of the Peace
at Hicks Hall Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Luke in the County
of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by virtue of a Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals
of The Right Honble. George Lord Carpenter< no role > and Lews. Chas. Montolieu< no role > Esquire
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middlesex
(whereof one is of the Quorum) bearing date the Twenty seventh day of
January One thousand seven hundred and forty seven Mary Russell< no role > Widow
was removed and Conveyed from the Parish of Saint George Hanover
Square in the Liberty of Westminster in the said County of Middlesex to
the said Parish of Saint Luke as the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Mary Russell< no role >

That your Petitioners find themselves aggrieved by
the said Warrant or Order of removal and humbly
Appeal to this Court against the same And pray that
this Court will Appoint some day in this present
Sessions for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint George Hanover
Square and all other Persons Concerned to attend this
Court to hear and abide the Judgment and
determination of this Court touching the said
Appeal

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc
