Weatley in Oxfordshire that he (meaning the said William Frank
=land) robbed him (Meaning himself the said Edward Bygrave< no role > then
personating the said John Spurce) and forcibly took from him (meaning
himself the said Edward Bygrave< no role > then personating the said John
Spurce
< no role > ) one Guinea fifteen Shillings in silver a Silver Watch and
Hatt and that the said Robbery was Committed in the Day time between the
hours of fore and fiveof the5 Clock in the afternoon on or aboutthe
the said 20thDay ofOctober in the year 1736 and that he (meaning
himself the said Edward Bygrave< no role > then personating the said John
Spurce) was very positive that the person who robbed him (meaning
himself the said Edward Bygrave< no role > then personating the said John
Spurce as aforesaid) was the said William Franklyn< no role > abovenamed
(meaning thereby the saidabove named William Frankland< no role > ) as by
the said Examination may more at large Appear Whereas in
truth and in fact the said William Frankland< no role > of the said William
Franklyn
< no role > who is Mentioned to have been called by the Nickname of
Rusty Dick did not at any time attack robb or forcibly take away
