in ye County of Middx who went by the Name of Wm Franklyn< no role > & by the Nick Name of Rusty Dick (meaning [..]
sd [..] Franklandwho wasthen in Custody in ye sd Goal) did on or abt the 20th day of Oct &
which was in ye yr spondd 1736 attack him (meaning p sd [..] Bygrave who then psouated ye sd John Spurce) on the
Highway as he (meaning himself then psouating ye sdJohnSpurce) was traveling between
Islip & Weatley in Oxfordshire, that he (meaning of sd Frankland) robbed him (meaning
[..] himself sd Bygrave then psouating ye sd [..] Spurce) & [..] forcibly took from
him (meaning himself in Bygrave then psouating ye sd Spurce) One Guinea, 15s in Silver, a Silver Watch
& Hatt & that ye sd Robbery was comitted in ye day time between ye house of 4 &
5 O' Clock in ye afternoon on or abt the sd 20 Octr my year 1736 And that he (meaning himself
ye Bygrave then psouating ye sd Squrcs) was very possitive that the pson who robbed him (meaning
himself sd Bygrave then psouating ye sd Squrcs) was ye sd Wm. Franklyn< no role > above named (meaning
thereby thesd Wm Frankland) As ky [..] Examinacon may more at large appear
Whereas in truth & factthesdWmFrankland or [..] sdWmFranklyn who is
menconed to have been called by the Nick Name of Rusty Dick did not at any
time attack rob or forcibly take away from any pson Wsoever. on ye Ingham
inthesd County of Oxford any Money or Goods wsoever Which sd Combinacon &
Conspiracy of [..] sd Deft & Bygrave now to ye great peril of ye Life & difraccon
ofyesdWmFrankland to ye Mainfest Eversion of ye Lawsof this KingdomTo ye
