and corruptly did depose Swear and upon his Oath aforesaid in writing affirm
And so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said
Edward Bygrave< no role > on the said Ninth day of November in the said year of
Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirty nine at the parish of
Kensington aforesaid in the County of Middlesex aforesaid before the
said William Morice (then and there having sufficient power and Authority
to Administer the said Oath to the said Edward Bygrave< no role > in that behalfe)
falsely voluntarily malitiously and corruptly in manner and form aforesaid
by his own proper Act and of his own wicked mind Committed wilfull
and Corrupt perjury and deceived the said William Morice To the Great
Injury of the said William Frankland< no role > To the great displeasure of
Almighty God And to the Ill Example of all persons in the like Case
offending And against the peace of our said Lord the present King
his Crown and Dignity Etc And the Jurors aforesaid upon their
said Oath further present that the said Edward Bygrave< no role > of the parish
of Kensington aforesaid in the said County of Middlesex Labourer
not having the fear of God before his Eyes but being moved and Seduced
by the Justigation of the Devil and Endeavouring and intending to
Oppress and injure the said William Frankland< no role > on the said Ninth
day of November in the said year One thousand seven hundred and
thirty nine At the said parish of Kensington in the said County of
Middlesex came before the said William Morice< no role > Esquire then and long
before and afterwards one of the Justices of our said Lord the King
Assigned to keep the peace of our said Lord the King in the said County
of Middlesex And also to hear and determine diverse Felonies Trespasses
and other Misdemeanours committed in the said County And then and
there deceiptfully and unlawfully pretended himself to be and personated
one John Spruce< no role > of the parish of Aynoe on the Hill in the County of
Nothampton Salesman And by the said name of John Spurce he the
said Edward Bygrave< no role > did on the said ninth day of November in the
said year one thousand seven hundred and thirty nine at Kensington
aforesaid take his Corporal Oath upon the Holy Evengelist of God before
the said William Morice (the said William Morice then and there to witt
in the said parish of Kensington having sufficient power and Authority to
Administer the said Oath in that behalf) and the said Edward Bygrave< no role >
