personating the said John Spurce on the said day year last mentioned
Kensington aforesaid did falsely malitiously Voluntarily and Corruptly
and depose upon his said Oath That a person then in Custody in hisMes
Majesty's Goal of Newgate in the County of Middlesex who went by the [..]
of William Franklyn< no role > and by the Nickname of Rusty Dick (meaning
thereby the abovenamed William Frankland< no role > ) which said William
Frankland
< no role > on the said Ninth day of November in the year last mentioned
and long before and afterwards was a prisoner in Custody in his said
Majesties said Goal of Newgate was in the said County of Middlesex [..]
Attack Robb and forcibly take from him meaning him the said Edward
Bygrave
< no role > who then personated the said John Spurce) on the Highway
between Islop and Wheatley in Oxfordshire on or about the Twentieth
day of October in the said year One thousand seven hundred and thirty
Six One Guinea Fifteen shillings in Silver Watch and Hatt
Whereas in Fact the said William Frankland< no role > did not in the said month
of October in the said year one thousand seven hundred and thirty six or
at any other time whatsoever Attack Robb or take from any person
whatsoever on the said Highway between the said Islop and Wheath [..]
in Oxfordshire aforesaid One Guinea fifteen shillings in Silver a Silver
Watch and Hatt or any either of them or any other thing whatsoever
As the said Edward Bygrave< no role > hath falsely malitiously voluntarily and
cottuptly upon his said Oath Sworn and deposed And so the Jurors
aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said Edward Bygrave< no role > on the
said Ninth day of November in the said year One thousand seven
hundred and thirty nine at the parish of Kensington aforesaid in the
said County of Middlesex before the said William Morice (then and
there having sufficient power and Authority in that behalfe to
Administer the said Oath) falsely malitiously voluntarily and corruptly
by his own proper Act and consent in manner and form aforesaid
committ Wilfull and Corrupt perjury to the great injury of the said
William Frankland< no role > To the great displeasure of Almighty God And [..]
the Evil example of all persons in the like Case offending And Against
the peace of the said Lord the present King his Crown and Dignity
