Take Notice that I caused to be left a Notice in
Writing Yesterday at your late Lodgings purporting that I could
appear at this present General Sessions of the Peace now held
at Hick's hale in St Johns Street in and for the County of
Middx On Munday next at Nine of the Clock in the
forenoon in order to Try the Traverse of the Indictmt
least the same should not come to your hands as I
have this day faind [..] a direccon Entered in the Recognizance Book
a direconin respect to your prefat place of abode this to therefore
to give you Notice that I shall not appear on Monday
next at Nine of the Clock according to my former
Notice but that I will appear at this present Sessions of the
Peace now held at Hicks hall in Psent John street in and for the sd County of Middx on Tuesday next at Nine of the Clock in the
Forenoon when and where I will by the said
Traverse Dated this 20 day of September 1738
